Anyone do anything 'exciting' with 'em?

I normally just grill 'em, but they aint half boring that way. Thought about possibly marinating them in something...?

Not stir fry recipes please :-)

Peel and chop an apple into 1/4" chunks.. Add the chunks to 2-3 tablespoons of bramley sauce.. Then add a small teaspoon of Dion/french mustard.. Mix it all together.. Grill the chops on 1 side and turn over and partially grill the other side.. Then spread your apple mixture on top of the chop and grill a bit further.. Add a bit of grated cheese on top before...

sorry boo, he made me do it

anyway, i know you said no stirfry but do you like the flavours? i like marinating pork strips in hoisin sauce then cooking it with onions and garlic, you end up with a sticky sauce a bit like spare rib sauce and having that with jacket spuds of all things
actually laughing out loud at those two answers, genius!
Buy sauce or mix crunchy pnut butter with honey, lemon, garlic (bottled) & soya to taste

I bet the chops are on red label...yet again:)
How was it? Did the hammer bludgeoning and breadcrumbs make them more 'exciting'?

Mix it all together..

Add a bit of grated cheese on top before further grilling until the cheese is slightly burnt !

New potatoes, sliced carrot, and a few stems of asparagus ..

Don't forget an ice cold bottle of Soave ..!

Lmao,no snaggles, still as boring as hell, that'll teach me for going the lazy route!

Think I might try alavahalf's suggestion if I get more- sounds lush!
I do them the same way as alavahalf with the cheese on top, very nice for a change. Sometimes I just sprinkle italian herbs on them and serve the apple sauce separately.
''still as boring as hell''

Ahh well... hopefully all that hammering got rid of that menopausal tension :)

Rub with sage then spread apple sauce mixed with chopped onion over them and chuck in the oven,
Marinade in a mix of cola, honey and grain mustard. Fry and use remains of marinade to make a sauce with the fat. Yum! Goes well with rice and salad.
I made a rub with olive oil, smoked paprika and chilli flakes, then grill, served with crushed baby roast potatoes with garlic and thyme, salad with feta and a chilli and lime dressing.
