Burnt Arm

I burnt the underside of my forearm on the oven, last week, and had two red wheals as a consequence. It was sore but didn't cause any problems.

At the weekend, I caught my arm on the side of a cardboard box and grazed the burns. They became even more sore and began to be weepy. I have been applying Sudocrem on an absorbent dressing and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. It's still painful and a bit 'mankey'.

I have some tea tree oil and some Manuka 10+ honey. Shall I try the tea tree or the Manuka? .........or something else?

Thank you all for your suggestions. Unfortunately, I don't have an Aloe Vera plant, Lady J.

I'm off to the pharmacy later, for some antiseptic wipes, dressings and advice.

Advice? Don't rest your arms on a hot cooker. x
Consult the pharmacist. I had a bad burn at work which healed like yours, then I brushed against something and opened the blister. The pharmacist recommended specific burn dressings....it was much improved in a day or two.
Oops...just saw your enquiry was from yesterday. Hope you got it sorted.
