I have a iiyama LED monitor just 12 months old. When scrolling a page, the page will suddenly move up/down without me touching the scroll wheel. The mouse appears to be OK and cant figure out why this is happening.
Would be most grateful if anyone has experienced this or offers an answer on how to stop this happening
Many thanks

Try the obvious first. Get hold of another mouse (for a fiver or less from major supermarkets or 'discount' stores - or simply borrow one from a friend) and see if the problem persists. If it does, do the same thing with a replacement keyboard (also around a fiver) because sticky arrow (or page up/down) keys could also cause the problem.

Just a further thought:
You haven't, by any chance, clicked on the mouse wheel, have you? That engages 'auto scroll', so that the speed and direction of scrolling is determined by the distance of your cursor from where it was when you clicked.
