I don't think there's anything to 'get' is there? I assume Caribeing is just commenting on the name...maybe Miley is the new Kylie? :)

You bad girl. lol. It didn't click until I read your post.
MILEY !!! YER tea's on the table...!!!!! MILEY!!! in now !!!! has a ring to it ...lol
Hi all. I think I must be totally dumb and dumber as I just don't get this.
I'm in the dunce's corner with you, nilrac :(

Going to be a fan of Sprouts obviously!
Wouldn't that be the same whatever the first name, though? Anna is funnier than Miley before Windass
I don't get it either. Would be the same if it was Eileen (it rhymes but is more old fashioned) Windass and I wouldn't find that funny either.
I've read this post earlier and even now I don't get the 'joke'. It's probably a regional thing ¿
No, don't get it either. Would it help to know how "Windass" is pronounced?
Wind as in blowy weather, or what you do to a clock?

The writers have form on using pop stars names for the characters. Toyah and Chesney for a start.
Also Demi from eastenders called her baby Alicia beyonce
This is the case in real life as well though isn't it? And it's hardly a surprise that a 13 year old mum would chose such a name
I'm just happy their name isn't Windyass and that she didn't have a boy and call it Ivor. :-)
She'll not be the only Miley when she gets to school, people like to call their sprogs after celebrities. How many Kylies were there before Neighbours?
It isn't a new thing naming your children after celebrities. I was born in the early 40's and christened Michael Donald after famous 30's duo Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck!
I live in Stoke, which has a distinctive accent, and when Dynasty was at its zenith, there was a rash of character names cropping up.

That's why, in my local Sainsbury's, as a little girl toddled off down the aisle to explore, her mother, in a perfect rendition of the aforementioned accent, was heard to foghorn down the store - 'Faluuuuuuurrrrrrnnnnn! Come 'ere!!!'

Dead sophisticated.
andy, you should hear 'Kylie' shouted in a Black Country accent. Not pretty
hc4361 - // andy, you should hear 'Kylie' shouted in a Black Country accent. Not pretty //

I am hearing it now in my mind - I can see what you mean!!!!!
Apparently Nick's squeeze, the older blonde lady, is pregnant !!
