Probably at room temp for around 12 hours, it is now in the fridge, is it safe to eat for a) me or b) the cat?

I never keep cooked meat or cheese in the fridge as it kills the flavour
If I left cooked chicken lying around overnight I wouldn't need to consider whether it was fit for me or the cats because they'd have eaten it anyway, long before I realised my error ;-)
