When I had one they were very nice, made sure I was comfy and then explained it was noisy but the music being played through the headphones would cancel it out. My big mistake was not asking what music would be played through the headphones. I had to endure an eternity of very loud rap music. Top tip: take your own CD in or tell them which radio station you want on....

was at the hospital 19th march, they didn't waste any time getting me an appointment, did they.
I got my brain scanned by the MRI scanner a couple of years ago and I thought that it was going to be awful.

I almost enjoyed it, I was taking part in research and they gave me a copy of my brain afterwards.

You will be okay - the staff were really great. I can't remember where I went but it was in Edinburgh.

Don't think the speed of the appointment is anything to worry about, Kate. If it's like here they have extended the hours and days they use the machines to make the most of them...x
