This is NOT a test to see how good your punctuation is, but something else - which I shall reveal later ..... or it may well be revealed by others on here :)

All I want you to do, is punctuate the following sentence AND state whether you're male or female .... all shall be revealed :)

Please do NOT look at any of the other answers before you reply, as I don't want you influenced in any way.

The sentence is:

A woman without her man is nothing

I think several posters have meant it the female way Giz, I know I did.
A woman, without her, man is nothing.
So what does the experiment prove Giz? Should it prove we answer subconsciously how we feel depending on our gender? .. as I don't think it does.
Grrrr, not playing anymore!

That's what someone was suggesting Elina, but I don't think so.
I think most people will punctuate it the same, irrespective of gender .... I just wanted to kinda prove it.
A woman; without her, man is nothing
A woman? Without her, man is nothing.
I'm male.
I think a lot of us have seen it before so it doesn't prove anything. The difference in context would be more easily noticed if it were spoken rather than written, with the stressed words being different.
I agree Giz.
A Woman. Without her, Man is nothing.

Sorry Giz, but I saw this on Facebook the other day!!!
A woman without her man is nothing. Male
King Charles I walked and talked half an hour after his head was cut off
A woman, without her man, is nothing. Male
A woman,without her man,is nothing.
A woman without her man,is nothing.

..and felt that though I did not agree with the sentiments, that was the first answer I came up with. So no,I don't believe we necessarily punctuate according to gender.
Female

I wrote the above...then read the answers below
A women, without her man, is nothing. Female
A woman, without her man, is nothing. Female
This reminds me a dreary feminist slogan from some time ago ::::

"A woman needs a man as a fish needs a bicycle"
A woman, without her, man is nothing. (female)
A woman, without her man is nothing ? male
