About four weeks a go a friend lost his gundog a beautiful fox red lab.The dog was taken to the vets after losing his appertite and being lethergic and off colour, less then two days later the poor old lad was dead at just over three years.Today got the vets report and the poor old boy died of Alabama Rot,this horrible disease has no cure, they don't really know what causes it and it is almost always fatal. This is in N Notts, dont know what to tell you to look out for but I thought other dog owners should know it's about

I'm not currently a dog owner but have heard of this and would be very worried if I was. A lot of cases have been reported in the last couple of years in my area via the Bournemouth Echo because it's in the New Forest.
