Just heard this on the news - the DG is under armed guard as a result of the Clarkson sacking. Beyond my understanding that someone would do this.

he behaved badly and I bet it's not the first time. we just haven't heard about it in the news. he may be popular but he is still a bully and should be treated as such.

Sorry naomi, that was intended to be an example, not fact. Nobody's saying who made the threat, it was sent by email apparently.

When I saw that story, I momentarily checked that it wasn't April 1st.

I wasn't suggesting it was jc who was making the threats. death threats for trying to curb violence is so wrong and should be dealt with appropriately. what I was trying to say is that I think that jc is a bit of a bully.
