Went to see Antigone at the weekend (very good but View from a Bridge last night was better). It got me thinking how much is true? I guess there really were Trojan Wars so the horse could have happened but did a man really marry his own mother by mistake and did a mother really kill her children etc

You sometimes see reports in the papers or on the news about parents killing their own children to spite their Ex. If it's happening now there's no reason why it couldn't have happened in ancient times.
