I have many PPT files under PowerPoint 2003 and something happened with my .ppt files:

-they occasionally get corrupted and can't be opened at all.

-some of the images in the PPT file are swopped from one file to another.

I did a complete scan with my antivirus and didn't find anything at all.

What should I do?

Try opening the files using OpenOffice Impress instead of Powerpoint. If you're successful, re-save them under different names and then see whether Powerpoint can open those new files:

This could also be caused by a corrupt disk index.
Open "This PC" or "My Computer"
Right-click on the disk drive, and choose Properties
Go to the Tools tab, and click the "Check" button

Other than this, you can also try to open the file in OpenOffice Impress. Unluckily if the files are still unable to be opened, the last and effective solution could be a
-Use a Third party tool: This must be the best and effective solution for recovering corrupt PowerPoint files. A third-party tool is designed to handle any level of corruption from corrupted files PowerPoint Repair Toolbox http://www.powerpoint.repairtoolbox.com/
