that only need black ink cartridges?

I am appalled at the price of colour cartridges and I don't do anything in colour now that I have finished work. Actually, when I was at worked I used the printers at work.

Most printers are designed so that when one or more of the color cartridges are used up (even when not being used, the ink will eventually evaporate), they will not print even when just using black. For about 3 years now, I've been buying replacement cartridges from "Cartridge World" for half the price of Canon's. I think you have them in the UK.

Methyl, my printer is an HP PSC 750 and the cartridges are black 15 and colour 78. (Not 75, as I stated previously.)
My preferred supplier charges £11.99 for a single (compatible) HP 78 colour cartridge but they're £9.99 each if you buy 2 or £8.99 each if you buy 4:

There are almost certainly cheaper cartridges available elsewhere but (unlike Inkredible) I can't vouch for their quality.

Thank you for the recommendation, Chris. That's much better than £24.99.
Why not just buy a mono laser printer? You can get one for around the cost of a few inkjet cartridges, it will never dry up, will be faster than most ink-jets, and MUCH cheaper to run.
