Half and half, imo. I think it's the trio with Clarkson at the helm and the fact that all three of them have a passion about cars....especially super cars. Boys like super cars. Personally I'd love to have a Fiat 500...but I still enjoy Top Gear (or did) I'm never going to get round the track in the 'non star in a reasonably priced car' in a Fiat... I like their...

Let you down how?
I can actually feel the pent up testosterone as you typed it andy.

I remember when I was nineteen, listening to a local youth's chin solo about his souped up mini, which would 'beat anything on the road'.

Suitably challenged (folly of youth and all that!) I advised him I could get to te next pub or list which was five miles away, before he did, with my car carrying four passengers. bearing in mind that I was driving my dad's car - a Morris Marina, one of the worst cars ever built, and not known for its high-speed (or even low speed!) handling.

We made it, but not before careering down a city street at seventy miles an hour and going into a sideways spin as the backend refused to co-operate.

My adrenaline overdose was more than compensated for by the delight from the assembled pub crowd, and the relative silence about matters motoring from my opponent - at least in my hearing.

I am fifty-nine now, and still drive down that street every day, and occasionally remember my folly, and how I could have killed myself and friends, or some other innocent motorist.

Still felt good though!

Jeremy Clarkson???? Bring it ON!!!!!!!!

You started the insults...can you not see that?
imo the wuss had an ulterior motive when he went to the hospital, there was nothing wrong with him.

Talbot - //imo the wuss had an ulterior motive when he went to the hospital, there was nothing wrong with him. //

At the risk if reading like a cracked record - you have no way of knowing how trivial or serious the assault and the injuries were, you were not there.

You have also chosen to ignore my possible explanation that as a BBC employee, he may have adhered to policy in getting his injury recorded by a medical professional in case of future litigation.

I have no idea why you are clinging so fiercely to this view, but it is ironic that you decide that my debating tenacity has ‘put you off many threads …’ but you are still thrashing this out on here.
I don't get upset but I do like to point out hypocrisy when I see it.
I rarely do that though andy. Whereas it seems to be your modus operandi.

And I like to point unprovoked insults directed at strangers and sweeping statements about incidents not witnessed, when I see them.

Now you are joking?

Ok I called Oisin Tymon a wuss...

Any thoughts?

I have a brilliant memory, andy. I know that you do like to have a *** about a fair few people that you don't know...it wasn't dificult to find something.
