How likely is it that the firm would let both their receptionists off on hols at the same time?

Hard to say as we don't know the company or the size of it.

But in most companies you don't let two employees off if they both do the same job or cover for each other.

Of course the company could get temps in to cover.

I assume you want to go on holiday together?

But they did have another receptionist.

I saw the tv advertisement for this. Was one of the young women asked to carry something back on the flight after their holiday?
