Is it only me, or is this happening to anyone else ?

These last 2 weeks, I am getting upwards of 50-70 spam emails a day !

My spam filter helps a lot but I always have a quick look through before deleting as sometimes a genuine email may slip in by mistake. its driving me steadily MAD !

Apart from changing my 22 year old email address, can anyone else suggest a solution please ?

I am with Outlook, and I get about 4/6 everyday in my junk, and even though I block them I still get them a few days later.
Maybe those with the problem should do what alavahalf @ 20.59 did. Just saying.

I use gmail and as I have said, I rarely get any.
had to change my e mail ad after13 years as I was suddenly getting over 100 a day all purporting to be returned mail with attachments...
>>> If I had to go to all that trouble I'd give it up.

But just because I have 10 email addresses it does not mean I log on to each of them every day.

My "main" family email address I log on to every day, but because I get all my "junk" email sent to other addresses it is a lot simpler to handle the small amount of mail that comes to that main address.

The "subscription" emails I may log on only once a week or so, because I know that only non important emails are going there.

My wife only has one email address, and EVERYTHING goes there, and she is forever having to sort through the "crud" to get to the important stuff.

Whereas I don't need to sort through the crud to get to the important stuff.

Having numerous email addresses actually makes life easier.
