We hear about Rugby players supporting certain football teams, do you think any footballers watch rugby and are embarrassed by the fact rugby players get absolutely battered, kicked, punched, stamped on then just get up and carry on as if nothing happened?

Rugby players call the Premier (Football) League the Andrex League. Because it is expensive and soft.

Kicking and punching are not allowed in rugby. Getting battered and accidentally stamped on is part of the game. Probably not so much embarrassed as glad....
that they get payed a lot more money for a lot less grief!
Lots of current and ex-Footballers watch Rugby League. And yes, I imagine that they do get embarrassed at their antics on the Football pitch.

Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs, Sir Alex Ferguson and Robbie Savage are rumoured to be Wigan Warriors fans. Although Wayne Rooney is supposed to be a Leeds Rhinos fan.

Rugby players supporting football teams eh?
Amazing. Whatever next?
When rugby players get stamped, punched etc they DO complain.
Thy are two different games.
The thing that does annoy me is the answering back to referees, but then football referees like teachers get zero respect not just from players but supporters, the press, punters. Rugby refs, amusingly branded 'windbags' by some when they lecture the players who talk back, also have the benefit of more assistance from the TV official, something football should follow TO A LIMITED DEGREE
Our old maths teacher once sent off two French players in a Five Nations game --- v England. He was famous for a day or two :-)
No I don't think footballers watch the players but I have heard surprised comments about the crowd - surprise that generally a rugby crowd are able to have a drink and support their team without degenerating into violence and racism.
