I have three babies i have just found! What the...!!

Mollys i think!

What do i do! I am brand new to this!

Get a breeding tank or net - they float in the tank although I use lettuce clips to stop ours moving as fish can get squashed if the tank floats.

Put the babies in there.

You can also put int the dividers and the put the mother fish in whens she's due - the babies get separated from her - then take her out when sh's finished.


We have guppies and they breed like........ guppies!


We also have plecs - and they lay LOTS of eggs which daddy fish looks after

Ok for now what do i do??? I dont have another tank.... Yet! X
I let nature take it's course with mine im afraid. More to do with, like you, I didn't have a spare tank or a nursery tank.

Ive only been at this one month if im lucky naval!!!

Ive saved four out of the five i found!! They are a *** to catch!!!!!!!!

In an emergency you can glue some corks to a kitchen sieve and float that with the babies in that. put a wee bit of plant in so they feel safer.

They survived last night in my makeshift tank!!! Off to the aquatic place for a wee tank x
I can see the emergence of another fish breeder in the making.
