We occasionally get ours done at the supermarket or Homebase but the valet's a no no ever since they hosed the boot carpet and it stank for weeks.

Cars only ever get to a certain level of filth, then it rains. Try it. I have 2 cars on the drive and I've washed one, once in 3 years. Ok, if I had a nice car I'd probably wash it but I have a Renault. If I washed it something would probably fall off.
