Just had a look at that thread Sir A, I think the post that got you angry has been removed now. Gawd knows why he picked on Attercliffe, take no notice it's gone now. And yes your dad should have been a millionaire with those inventions.

He said that if an MP had grown up in a two-up-two-down in Attercliffe, Sheffield, and become a millionaire, basically that would be an achievement. My Dad worked so hard all his life, had an inferiority complex from an early age and deserved better. He's left me comfortably well off, enough to pay the bills, heat my home and eat well, if I want to. He didn't need to be a millionaire, he felt rich with having married my Mum.
