Why are the police being blamed.

The girls took their passports, they got the money for their flight tickets from somewhere, the school knew a another girl went in December, and why were they not questioned at the airport when they were flying out of the Country?

The police cant win sometimes!

The parents need to shoulder 100% of the responsibility. It is without doubt that they were complicit in filling their heads with religious rubbish that lead to this. The parents (and any other family involved) should be marched to the airport and given one way tickets to be with their 'girls' with British Nationality ripped up for all of them going.

If anyone should take a look at their procedures it`s Immigration at Turkish airports as they know people are transiting their country to get to Syria. They should ask the questions that they ask in places such as the US -"How long are you staying, what is the purpose of your visit, show us proof of where you are staying in Turkey" etc and then flag up for further questioning if they have any suspicions.
I think the parents should be facing an enquiry as to their lack of control and apparent indifference as to what duplicity they allow these *** ,get up to behind their backs. They are thieves, disloya

to their family and should no longer be allowed to rejoin their family in the UK.On the other hand do not the Muslim community have their own way of avenging a family dishonour??? Leave the police out of it and let the family travel to Syria and deal with it their own civilised way.!!!
Lets see Sharia law work in this instance.
I couldn't believe it when I saw the family invited to attend the inquiry or whatever that preceding was called, along with top bras from the police service.

To say nothing of these top line officers apologising to the family, and it has been reported that one said they would be perfectly free to return to the UK, as no action would be taken against them.

What is wrong with this country we are always apologising to someone, come on the UK get a back-bone.
