Printing 6"x4" Photos

can anyone tell me why i cannot print out this size photo onto glossy photo paper, they come out really weird with the ink just sitting on top of the paper.you can rub the ink off by hand several hours later. i've got the settings right for this size and its been the same on the last 3 printers i've had. its fine for A4 prints but seems like too much ink for the size.

It could be your paper.

What brand of paper and printer?

Is it defiantely inkjet paper?

hi tuvok, its kodak paper and a kodak printer last one was an HP and an epson before that have also tried other makes of paper and allways same result with that size photo

Be sure to change your paper / media settings to 'Glossy Paper' before you print.
To avoid wasting ink & paper, try a small image first to see results.
