It is tough enough for Excelsior being out of a job at the moment, and having to suffer reject after reject.
But now he is going to have to fork out money to have his car sorted.

It was in a car park in town while he was job hunting, and it looks like some *** parked next to him has gouged a big hole in his paintwork on the passenger side door - he's got the 'chips away' guy coming to have a look.

He had spent a sizeable portion of his redundancy money on that car, and is very protective of it, he is understandably peeved.

It frustrates me to see him so dejected

gailforce, i wish the best for Excelsior.

In response to your question 'Why do bad things happen to good people?'. Good things happen to bad people, too.

When life deals you lemons make lemonade.
Hi Bernie I hope you find something you enjoy.
Gail, please pass my best wises to Excel.

Oops, Sorry GF, that should have read, is he still doing the Agency work?
Good and bad things happen to good and bad folk gailforce, that's how unfair life is. One good though is that Excel has you as a friend.
Yes thanks. Good to see you. You ok? Xx
Good luck in the job hunting to both Bernie and Excel.

Hi sibs xx
Answer to Pasta.

No idea!
gailforce, does your friend know you are posting his personal private life on a public forum? Surely if he wanted to tell people what was happening in his life he would post these things himself. The fact he's no longer posting may be because he does not want to share these things with AB.
pasta wrote I hate asking these questions...but was gailforce known by another name on here?
careful,I asked that and got zapped. You shouldn't really ask those questions because you might get accused of giving your fellow countrymen a bad name. ;-)
gailforce, please wish excel all the best from me, I hope he finds a job soon.

Good luck to you too Bernie.
How much of a bad name I give my fellow countrymen may depend on my overall behaviour towards fellow ABers...not a single query. I'll wait and see if I get zapped.
Pasta, I think Gail is a new ABer, introduced to the site by Excel and has his blessing to update us on his current situation
Ah,thanks sibs. I hope everyone is happy with that update...;-)
lol @ Retro, always a little ray of sunshine :-)
And you, Pasta, are a valued ABer x
Aww...thanks sibs...x
Evening, Pasta.....very happy.....☺☺
