My wife has a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 that keeps changing the date and time back to the factory setting. Even if I reset to the current date and time, it changes itself after a couple of days - any ideas anyone ??

Wild guess. Is it set the UK region (one of the settings) to pick up the UK time/date.

I think these tablets pick up the date/time from some web site so what happens when it connects to the web?

Haven't tried looking to see if it's set for the UK, nor what happens when connected to the web. Will check both. Many thanks for the reply.

Just to let you know, the tablet is set to the UK (GMT) and nothing happens to the time when connected to the internet. It's being sent back today to see if a repair possible.
