Password On Google

I've just changed google password on vodafone smart phone..when I go onto laptop there is a yellow triangle with ! at top right hand side..says sign in, but triangle still there after putting new password in...in "settings" there is pink message saying sign in details out of date. can anyone please tell me why this triangle is there?
