i cant find it in any shops now in liverpool.

Waitrose do them. In my area the Co-op is good for what I call old fashioned stuff that does the job. You know like Vim, Cornflour, Gravy Browning etc & probably Fairy Soap for laundry.
Ah, the good old days of the old chandlers shops, and that lovely aroma.
Remember Lifebuoy? It was everywhere in the 50s; green bars for laundry and red bars for personal washing.

How about "dolly blues"? Remember those? Saw some in a museum recently. I feel old!!!!
