When my daughter had a premmie baby last December, the Hastings hospital put her in a private room.

It's a whole lot easier to rig up a private room than a whole hospital ward in a TV studio?

Agree with gingejbee...one of them (can't remember which one) said it was too expensive and time consuming to do a ward scene with all the equipment and extras.
