Sensitive Tongue

My tongue is quite sensitive and sore at the moment with a bit of a furrow down the centre. What could it be? and is there anything that I could use to ease it?

This is a common condition, not cancerous, no big deal and there is no treatment......it will go.

It is called "Fissured tongue"
