16 x 625 = 10,000

Well... zero times anything is zero anyway :-)
I think CHARNA means without using the digit 0 in the 2 (whole?) numbers that you multiply OG.
And of course -16 x - 625
:-)

Prime factor decomposition (factor trees) is a good way to tackle this.
The number breaks down to
2⁵ x 5⁴
Ha ha- typo
Epic fail when trying to be clever with typing indices. Should say:
2⁴ x 5⁴
We've assumed we are talking about whole numbers, but if you allow fractions or recurring decimals you can have answers such as:
3333⅓ x 3
if you allow fractions there is an infinite number of combinations
