When did working class families, (who worked all their lives, struggled to buy their houses, joined their company's pension scheme, and then through their careful budgeting still had a little to put aside for a rainy day), suddenly become Middle-Class?

Well according to this report they think they have, and the likes of David Blunkett has called for Ed Miliband and the Labour Party to bring back the ‘Death Tax’.

If you rob Peter to pay Paul, Paul will keep voting for you.
This is one of those areas where hypocrisy thrives. Plenty of Labour MPs and supporters will be telling us how morally bankrupt we are for wanting to decide what happens to our savings after we die, whilst busy squirreling away their own assets to safety for exactly the same reasons.
"If you rob Peter to pay Paul, Paul will keep voting for you."

And if he is like most voters, Paul is of retirement age.
Most voters are probably not entitled to vote or even exist if you live in Tower Hamlets or Bradford !!!!! :-)
RetroCop,

// Most voters are probably not entitled to vote or even exist if you live in Tower Hamlets or Bradford //

Tower Hamlets has 2 MP's while Bradford has 3 MP's representing 3 different political Parties. What you wrote is just utter nonsense.

Did you fully understand what RetroCop put?

// Most voters are probably not entitled to vote or even exist if you live in Tower Hamlets or Bradford //

I don't think he ever suggested that Tower Hamlets or indeed Bradford had no MPs.

I know exactly what he meant. He meant the MPs in those areas are only elected through fraudulent voting. Whilst there have been some, no returning officer has ever claimed that it changed the result, so the claim is nonsense.
I believe the Tower Hamlets corruption is still being investigated !!!!
Well labour have to try and pay for the spending spree they are planning to have, no point in asking the feckless they are already hard at it spending the taxpayers money the pub as fast as they can already.

The politics of envy is labours war cry through and through, coupled with do as I say not what I do of course.
