Well, I've had a few deliveries of small items FROM China....and 3 or even 4 weeks seems common by standard mail.

On the Royal Mail site the delivery states between 4 and 7 days depending on service chosen. That's obviously airmail. Next time ask at the Post Office they will be able to tell you straight away.
