factor-fiction, // I think it's far too entrenched//

That’s the problem, isn’t it. It’s become an expectation.

//it's a way of saying only the well off can have children//

Unlike this man, people who take responsibility for themselves, regardless of wealth, have only the number of children they can afford – and that’s how it should be. If people can't afford to keep their children, they shouldn't expect the rest of us to bear the burden.
If someone with a large family was working for the minimum wage would tax credits bring them above the level of the benefits cap? And if the cap is to be lowered will hard-working people find themselves even worse off?
It really isn't as simple as that Naomi. How many of us were unplanned babies?
Some of us who have no children feel like we are constantly having to divvi up so that people like him can use my money to sit at home on his ***.
bum
Where do the 15mothers live? If he keeps their kids why dont the mums work & pay CPS.
Ummmm, //How many of us were unplanned babies? //

Once is a mistake, twice is careless ..... 26 times is... what?

Whatever it is, society shouldn't be expected to pay for it.
"and every penny goes towards the house and the children"

Yes, and who is responsible for this selfish population explosion, and should be the one providing the wealth ? How can anyone really think that the rest of society owes the feckless a living ?

Society should be offering him a free sterilisation, arguably a compulsory one, not that I'd support that, and leaving him to house his family and pay for their needs. There is a point where someone is just taking the *** and ought to be guilty of a crime against society. If the brood is to be taken into care he should be also in care where he can't find an opportunity to lose control of his reproductive system.
Right ... I'm off to see my BF for the weekend ...

And frankly, I might just stay there, say that I'm no longer UK resident (ie. do a "Lewis Hamilton") and stop having to contribute towards that stupid man's income).

Have a great weekend, guys x x x
