Is it possible to take photos with my Acer laptop?
I'm not too technically minded so please excuse me.
I can video call friends on Skype etc so a camera is installed.
Thanks for any help.

You should be able to take photos of whatever the camera sees but the quality won't be great.

You might have software on your laptop to do it, such as YouCam

As Hc4361 states, you won't get great quality. If you've not got suitable software already, this freebie will do the job:
