Will such a request stifle debate on why foreign criminals are so easily allowed into Britain so as to then go on to commit further crimes as in this case.
If anti-immigration groups, who the Gross family are referring to can go part of the way into seeing that this problem is addressed, then that can go a long way into preventing other families going through what the Gross family has been forced to go through.

Leaving aside the question of anti-immigration groups trying to use the tragic death of this young girl for their own political ends(and I haven't seen any evidence that they've done so), are convicted murderers free to settle here if they're from the EU? And was the killer not under some sort of supervision in his own country?

The vast majority of murdered women in this country are not killed by immigrants. So banning immigrants will not significantly reduce the murder rate of women.
To take this poor family's loss and claim you are concerned about preventing more murders is disingenuous.
You want immigration banned and you will latch onto anything, even the suffering of bereaved parents, to further your cause. There is only one side being selfish here, and it is not the murdered woman's family

I am not in anyway using this families loss, I am merely criticising their attack on those who wish for stronger limitation on certain foreign criminals who enter our country, and it is a fact that had their daughters killer had been prevented from entering this country, the they would still have their daughter with them, yes it is a little harsh to have to point that out but it is a fact that must be faced.

Once again for the second time, I am not wanting immigration banned, only certain limitations put on it, such as the importation on known rapist, murderers or any other's who are know to have committed crimes in their own country.
