I haven't seen the ad. Do you have a link?
There were quite a few ads. Can you remember what yours was about- Christmas, bacon, bread,...
http://www.tvadmusic.co.uk/tag/co-operative/
This site is usually good for these but it only has Cooperative ads for2013 .
If you go on youtube and search for Cooperative TV ads you'll find some for 2014. have a look on there and tell us which one you mean and we'll then try to recognise the instrumental
This is the only instrumental one I can find.
Was it definitely the Co-op? Not M&S?
What sort of instrumental track was it- classical, pop...?

Music: Just So by Agnes Obel as it is listed in the credits. Off the 2010 album 'Philharmonics'
Yes, Tremendous- assuming the ad on my link is the one Norbster means

Tremendous / Factor-Fiction. Unfortunately this is the wrong ad. The ad appeared before this and ran through summer 2014. will look out for it on TV, that is if it is re-used :-/
Here is another 'Cooperative' advert I have found with an instrumental track.
I known the track very well but can't put a name to it.

No, not that one either :-(

Be quick.... Just heard the same track used on the CO OP'S Valentines advert.

Any ideas????
Question Author
A little more information....
CO OP must have rehashed 2013's advert using the backing track that I am looking for (not the tune on this link).
