Mr Ask had a prostate check just recently, he didn't make anything of it. He was
more relieved that there wasn't anything wrong with him. The Doc said his prostate was soft and only slightly larger, but Ok for a man of his age. If it had been hard it may have been worrying. I don't think the rectal examination is painful.
My husband has had a number of digital rectal exams..he has prostate cancer.. and said that the exam itself is nothing to worry about.
I have had several checks.
Nothing to be concerned about.
Takes a few seconds.
I also don't actually understand the question.

The check is uncomfortable but worth putting up with. I'm unsure how one does one that isn't manual. I think it is likely to be a success given the GP will be trained.
