There is a track used in the 'Revolver' movie trailer and DVD trailer. Also the same track is used in the BBC series 'The Apprentice'.It was used several times in last night's episode.

To watch this episode go to:

The track plays for the first time at about 5:20 into the episode and is bassy with cymbals (if that helps!)

Help very much appreciated!

Thanks,

Alex

I was just about to post the same question how spooky is that? I was wondering whether some of the music was Michael Nyman but don't know so hope someone can give clarification?

Glad we're on the same wavelength there!

I want to know this track desperately.

They might use some Michael Nyman in 'The Apprentice',I'm not sure!

Are you sure it's the same track used in the Revolver trailer? I just listened, and it didn't sound the same.

Let's be more specific - In EPISODE 3 of The Apprentice, the track that I REALLY want to find out starts at the 4minute 30second mark, when all the guys are getting ready to leave the house and meet Sir Alan.

I've also been after this - I'm pretty sure it's something by Lalo Schifrin - jazz artist and movie soundtrack composer (famous for the Mission Impossible TV series theme) - and that it is something from the Dirty Harry films. But I've been scouring his soundtracks and haven't come across it as yet, but I still remain convinced that the music is of this ilk...
...I think wires are getting crossed here. The music in question is a modern piece, not something from a 1970s film.

I have just found out that a group/person called DRU MASTERS does some of the music on this series. I can't find out whether it's the piece of music you're after (or indeed, that I'm after), but he does have some stuff on his site.

I also want the name of that track in episode 3 at 4:30.It sounds a bit like Nathaniel Mechaly (again!).Maybe the people who select music have found some other music of his.Is there anyone who can find these tracks!
I'm pretty sure the music from the Revolver trailer is the beginning of 'Angel' by Massive Attack. Don't think it's been used in the new series of The Apprentice but it was a used a lot in the first series. The main Apprentice theme (which is in a similar style) is a commission by Dru Masters. Go to www.drumasters.com to hear it. As far as I know it's not commercially available.

The track sounds almost identical to Angel by Massive Attack but it's not it.It starts with an almost identical baseline but the drums don't come in as they do in this 'Unknown' track...

Good work though!
