Is it to late to plant daffodil & tulip bulbs.

I wouldn't buy any now - rather too late - they really need about 12 weeks in 'chilled ground' to flower well this year.

But if you've already got some, then there's nothing to lose by planting them - at the very worst they'll be late/blind this year, but then will be great in spring 2016.
Alternatively, if you fancy some snow drops, they do transplant easily from ready sprouted plants (In The Green) and can often be found in small pots in garden centres.
Agree with sunny-dave… but try this neat little trick; plant the tulip bulbs about 8 to 10 inches below the surface and cover with 4 to six inches of soil and then plant the daffodils directly on top of them and cover. Nice sight in the spring since the daffodils will come up first and by the time they are tired the tulips are coming… great show!

methyl, I did that very thing once. ! Yes, they did eventually grow, but not recommended !
