Well, wasn't that just hilarious? The Chavs 2-0 up at home, seemingly cruising along and then bang! 4-2 to Bradford! Got to be the biggest upset of all time? So much for all that talk of a quadruple! And with Spuds, Citeh, and Saints all going out as well, just a great day for the cup.
PankySmooch; I don't know what point you are trying to make with your remark about the bookies. But if it were true about the 6/1, i'd be all over it like a rash as Arsene never goes anywhere without his sleeping bag/jacket and i've heard it can be quite nippy down in Brighton at this time of year.
Hardly the first team to come back from a 2 goal deficit, and against a team without its biggest stars (No Diego Costa, no Matic, no Terry, no Ivanovic etc). Why is it considered such a shock when Bradford reached the League Cup final 2 years ago, knocking out Premier League teams such as Arsenal along the way?
49 league places between the sides, so not the biggest shock of all time (albeit, still a shock). Jose will have learned a lot about his "fringe" players and their appetite for a battle. Especially disappointing, as Chelsea are one of the few top sides to take the FA Cup seriously.
Chelsea cannot field any 11 without leaving out some of their 'stars'
Willian, Hazard and Fabregas additionally all came on at 2-1 up so I would say this result is in the top 5 at least.
I was surprised not to see Colchester 3, Leeds 2 from 1970 listed in the MOTD line-up of shocks. I still think that one takes some beating along with Wrexham v Arsenal
Dennis Wise was, and always will be, a little ***k! Remember Danny Baker saying he was like the scummy little kid at school who could spit through his teeth!
