Transferring Albums

Have just tried putting a couple of albums onto my iPod touch (4th gen, 16Gb) from i Tunes but no matter what I try they just won't copy across. Have also tried using Media Monkey but that doesn't seem to want to work either. Any ideas out there ? Never had trouble before. Many thanks.

Is there enough space on the iPod as music takes up rather a lot of memory??

Silly me !! No there wasn't enough memory and also I hadn't converted the files from WMA to AIFF, therefore my iPod didn't accept them. Thanks for responding to my question.
