You are not getting confused with oil of witch hazel are you ? :-)
If I'm not mistaken, tea tree oil is supposed to be effective against mrsa.
I've always used it for spots, and tried it for athletes foot.
I use it at the first sign of a cold sore. Also on spots or insect bites.
Oiling Tea trees??
Don't know that Jock itch is but I know what a Jock strap is for :)
Seriously, Tea Tree is anti fungal, anti bacterial and antiseptic. You can gargle with it when diluted in warm water 2 drops is enough in half a cup of warm water if you have sore throats or a sore mouth. Good for sterilising dishcloths as well. You can also put a few drops down your sink plug hole.
My goodness, sounds very useful, I think I will get some. I get psoriasis on my fingers, I'll give it a try. Should I dilute it first also ?
Also used to discourage head lice.
