Spam fritters - that takes me back to my youth. The served spam sandwiches in the maternity hospital where I had my son - at 5.30 in the morning! I was so hungry I ate them.

As others, it depends on mood and situation.

I have just had a simple meal of cream of tomato soup and buttered toast doorsteps, and it was the best meal ever.

Fave meal is Jersey potatoes, (not so tasty these days) with lashings of Lurpak, fresh broad beans in parsley sauce and gammon.

Or a massive rare sirloin steak with garlic and mushrooms!
