My boyfriend has court Friday he's getting done for gbh not sure if it's intent or without he don't normally drink and decided to one nice whilst we was out got into abit of trouble and hit someone and broke there jaw only hit him once no excuse for it I know admitted to offence straight away etc his solicitor said he should get a suspended sentence with community service hours, since him he's had a new solicitor and he's told him he could get a custodial sentence but not sure just wondering what to expect so scared he has no criminal record but not sure what's going to happen?

What an earth is your problem? Clearly anything your saying here is irrelevant so just stop commenting

Dont want to be a naysayer but I got an 8 month custodial for the LESS serious offence of ABH in 1997.
However, hope your boyfriend does well in court. Its my experiance that you just never know until the day, chance what anyone says to you.

He had 12 months and £100 fine :(
