Last night. OH got me tickets to see Wicked for Christmas (that's one thing off the bucket list) we planned to leave early so we could get dinner before but all the places were full and had over an hour to wait. So we ended up in a nice little place, where I ordered pudding but they had ran out of that so I ordered Tiramisu but it was mouldy, so settled for ice cream. Pudding was on the house but I was impressed with the food anyways. BUT I had such an amazing time.

Makes me want to go to the theatre more often. What is your favourite show and why?

It was AMAZING. We are sort of planning going to London and I'd like to go see a show down there.

It was quiet but I got totally spoilt. There was parts of my day that were hard but I'll be in touch about those.

I miss her show on Radio 2
How do Q.

I went to see Chubby Brown at the Barbican in York last weekend. The supporting act was Shane Richie Jnr.

Both acts were great. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Chubby Brown's humour is not to everyone's taste, but I think he's very funny.
Rarely go to the theatre but have just seen Dance til Dawn at the Aldwych. Loved it. Comedy, singing and wonderful dancing with a final Argentine Tango by Flavia and Vincent that was spellbinding.
Glad that you had a good night and a tick for your list.

Hi Mrs Chappie and Jakep

I've not really seen any of his work, so I can't really comment.

I've often seen the Flavia and Vincent show advertised and I would love to see that too. They make it look so easy but its so complex and beautiful.
Me too I think its the only thing that has been ticked so far
I would really recommend it. I think it finishes in London soon but then goes on tour. There is a website. It may come near to you.

I'm going to look :)
Evening, Queenie......glad you enjoyed your treat....

I don't think I could live without the theatre.........not a fan of EP but I will say she was brilliant in Sunset Boulevard.....other than that she's a wee bit annoying...

If you are going to London and haven't seen it yet....War Horse is a must...x

I hope you are well Gness xx
Hi Queenie, glad you had a great time. OH says you must see Warhorse, he saw it in Glasgow, I don't think I could bear to see it.

I never fancied the film but I've seen clips from the stage and it does seem good.
Oops, got that wrong it was War of the worlds :-)
War Horse, War of the Worlds, so easy to mix up!
Pleased you had a great time queenie xx
I remember going to see Shakespeare's Twelfth Night by a smaller touring company a few years back and it was done/ acted so well even the youngsters in the audience had understood most of it. I'd love to see that again.
Also, 'Trestle' Theatre group were always good (mask-work) - not sure if they are still going.
Rambert Dance is a very good contemporary dance Co. to go and see - not been to see dance at the theatre for a few years, must go to the Theatre more but it can be very expensive.
But for the big London shows, you can't beat Cats - absolutely marvellous!
