I have just downloaded a book from Gutenberg on to my iPad, which has a Kindle app. I would rather have the book on my actual Kindle, which is one of the original ones with the awkward 5-way button for typing and no touch screen. Is there an easy way to send the book to my Kindle from my iPad, please?

There are so many versions of Kindle it is difficult to give a good answer.

Do you know what formats your Kindle reads and the format the ebook is in?

Can you get the ebook from your iPad to your pc/laptop?

Thanks for your reply, hc. I plugged the iPad into my PC, but couldn't find a list of my books on it. I don't know what format the Kindle requires or what format the Ebook is.
I don't think I'll bother, anyway, thank you. Too much faff. I'll read it on the iPad. I was just wondering if there was a way of sending by email between the two devices, as they both have dedicated email addresses for receiving documents. Cheers.
I have a lot of books on my tablet and pc via the Kindle App but I can't find them anywhere on the hard drives even though I've downloaded them to read offline. I can read them via the app but can't find them as files.

I don't know how Amazon has done it.
