Sorry- I thought you said you had put WAITS IN- you meant you had put WAITS in.
Queues need not be a noun-does the clue specify it has to be a verb?

I think it might be cow (as in to intimidate)

I cannot see any reference to 'intimidate'or a synonym for such.

i am not going to spend any more time on it.
I am putting in COW.
The clues sometimes can be unusual.
My definition of it is in order to get the weekend off he/she intimidates or browbeat or cow.
