If so I wonder if judges read about Caroline Flack being a 'professional' dancer in the Mail today?

I've promised myself not to get involved with this tonight,so there.
Well they've all just given her 10/10.
I am sure the judges know all this.
I'm not sure where you draw the line as they all have some stage school experience.
It's the effect, if any, on the public vote that matters

It doesnt seem fair, Mark isnt a Trained Dancer although he did go to Stage School for Drama .....
Careful smurf and factor you'll be like me and upset the strictly fan club.

Dont care. Trained dancers shouldnt be allowed.
smurfy how do you define "trained"?
mark went to stage school? well it hasnt done him any good so what makes you think going to dancing school will be any good for caroline???
It's very old news and hasn't done her any harm so far. Pixie had years of dance training and so did Frankie...it doesn't mean they were trained to professional standard.
I'd love to see Caroline & Pasha win, they've been my favourites from week one.
Lots of Strictly celebs have been trained dancers to some extent - Jill Halfpenny, Aleisha Dixon, Patsy Palmer, Matt di Angelo, Jason Donavon, Natalie Gumede...

In this series, Frankie Bridge went to stage school and studied musical arts and I'm sure Simon Webbe has had dance training.

If they've been to stage school they will almost certainly have had dance training. If they've been acting on tv, film or on stage they have experience of performing in public. If they are sports people they don't have the performing experience but they do have stamina and agility.

And yes, the final is live, smurfchops
Difficult one although it does make for some much more polished performances from earlier one than you might get otherwise. It's nice to see people learn from scratch though it's also nice to see some more technical daring performances and people who are more natural performers do tend to bring a bit more life and personality to their dances. I preferred Pixie to Frankie in that respect. I think Caroline shines more for that to. It's all subjective though.

Wow, Caroline has swept the board tonight!
That whole, programme just made me smile. Wonderful, telly. I voted for Caroline. A deserving winner.
I think Simon should have won. That Argentine was jaw dropping.
I`m not sure she was a trained dancer. She studied dance but that doesn`t exactly give her that much of an advantage. I 'did' ballet for a few years when I was younger but I don`t think that would give me an advantage as far as Tango, Waltz etc is concerned. She was the best dancer in the final.
I loved Frankie; my wife loved Simon. Fair judgment, though, don't you think?
Great final - I wanted Simon to win but heigh-ho I still enjoyed it . What a shame that Thom Evans went out so early.
Absolutely brilliant show last night and I wasn't going to watch it because I was miffed about Jake being voted out !! Glad I did watch it though, it was sheer magic, couldn't fault it at all. Sad Simon didn't win, would love to have seen his face if he had. Personally I would like it if Len didn't come back next year.
To be fair Len is the only one really qualified to judge the ballroom dances. I think they have to sort out the Casting vote situation. If the judges are split 2/2 then it should go back to the viewer's votes to decide who should go through.
Len voted Jake off last week who was obviously a far better dancer than Mark, that is why I want him to go ! He shouldn't be seen to have favourites.
