At the European Parliament in Strasbourg:
// a motion to recognise Palestinian statehood “in principle” won cross-party support on Wednesday, with 498 lawmakers voting in favour and 88 against. //

And at the UN Security Council
// a draft resolution setting a two-year deadline for Israel to withdraw from occupied land has been amended by France to try to avoid a veto by the US, which has often blocked resolutions critical of Israel. //

Yawn...
Wow. A UN Security council draft resolution. I bet Israel are filling their pants. A European Parliament ruling as well. My word the fear in two years time that Israel have to look forward to. Toothed, paper,Tiger seems to resound in the back of my mind.
The flag in the Picture was a Palestinian flag. In two years time it could possibly be a ISIL flag.Well done the EU and UN council. You have handed the key to the back door of Palestine without a fight. Who do they think are the world's real enemies ISIL or Israel?
Just love the description of MEPs as "lawmakers". Says it all, doesn't it?

Under the European directive No 945million,6 hundred and forty five thousand and two it is no longer politically correct to criticise the lawmakers who err make European law. That is now 945million,6 hundred and forty six thousand and two European dictates so be warned!!
I quake in my boots. Sod'em (and Gomorrah).
I'm unsure why there's such emotional reaction to this. Both (all 3) groups are acting according to their conscience or interests as appropriate; and as could be expected. Regardless how effective or otherwise the result might be.
Don't know where the emotional bit kicks in, just a boring non-event.

I admit I'm up later than I ought to be, but can you explain in simple language what your last post meant, OG?
On second thoughts, don't bother.
Seemed to me responders were 'up in arms' at the OP. I'm unsure why they would be. All groups concerned seem to have acted as one might expect.
Retire to watch interviews with the guys sacked from The Apprentice. (I do like Bianca - just chucked that in to confuse the left-wing fascists like Metal Mickey).
Well I suppose the glee you show here goes hand in hand with your declaration that you'd like Irsael wiped from the map:

Looks like the FOJ infest the EU too.
Hamas wont be very happy with this 'two-state' solution malarkey. They might start firing rockets at Strasbourg, which would be rather ironic.
