I am looking for a steam cleaner for my kitchen wall tiles. I'm getting on a bit now and it is difficult climbing on the units. The ones I have looked at mention everything except wall tiles. Anyone got any ideas please?

Well whatever you buy won't stop the climbing. If you try and get one on a long handle so you don' have to climb, it will be as heavy as hell. The only one I had that wasn't heavy (I am on my 4th one) was a karcher which had a tanks and a long hose and it was total rubbish. How dirty do your tiles get?
I would save your money and get a cleaner in once in a while to do them for you -I've found they really aren't that good -look great on the adverts but either too heavy or usleless.
I think they do what they do. The problem is that they are sold as all singing all dancing. The best one I have had is the one I have got now which is the cheapest. Its great for whizzing over the kitchen floor if you do it regularly, ditto the wood floor in the hall and living room. If the weather is filthy and the dogs tread half the garden in then I am back to a mop and bucket. It was very good today for cleaning my greasy cooker and cooker hood.
