I work 16 hrs a week and as I have a disability I qualify for working tax credit.If my hours were to be reduced below 16 hrs I know I would lose my
WTC or would my partners 16 hrs be considered towards my claim for WTC or wold she have to work 24 hrs for us to qualify. any help appreciated thanks

As you have a partner I assume this is a joint claim. If the two of you together are working total of 30 hours p wk & one of you is working 16 or more, then there is still an entitlement to WTC. So if your hours reduce from 16 to (say) 10 & your partner works 20, WTC can continue. What you lose is the disabled element. If you have a child I think the 30 hours goes down to 24...

Yes you would loose your WTC, you must do the 16 hours. Your partner would have to work 24 hours to qualify if they are not disabled.
WTC is personal you can't add together the hours you work as a couple.
