A lot of xmas dinner prep can be done xmas eve anyway so less time is needed to be spent in kitchen

Have they perfected the art of smashing plates, leaving grease marks or have delicate skin?
Why can't Mum play with the kids and their toys? Or is it the only time Dad does it?
Or have some Dads bought a dishwasher and have no idea how to use it?

Prep is done Christmas eve (thank you so much for the advice) but I'm still not spending all morning cooking one meal and missing out on the kids enjoying themselves - it's one meal! (I so can't believe that you are actually this sexist in real life.)

It's the only meal I make all year so I'm looking forward to it
